Kitchen Lovers!! Did you Know?

Clean your Veggies, sounds like a simple concept, but rinsing in cold water isn't enough to remove all those pesticides!  

  • Interesting  points we must know is that every year so many (tons) of pesticides are used in commercial farming and agriculture.
  • Pesticides been linked to human neurological disorders, immune system dysfunction, allergies and endocrine system problems and the most common known link is cancer.....
  Vegetable Wash, can remove significantly more contaminants!

How to Make Vegetable Wash:

1.  ASSEMBLE YOUR SUPPLIES


1 Tablespoon of fresh squeezed lemon or grapefruit juice,
2 Tablespoons of white vinegar, 
1 Cup of water
Small plastic spray bottle (wash the bottle with hot, soapy water before using and rinse thoroughly


2.  MIX UP THE WASH


Open the spray bottle and pour in the water, add the citrus juice and vinegar, close the bottle, shake thoroughly.

3.  ENJOY CLEAN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES


Your vegetable wash will last u to 2 weeks in your refrigerator, 

Spray the fruits and vegetables, turning them to make sure they are completely coated.
Leave about 30 seconds.
Sturdy items such as lemons and corrots scrub gently with a vegetable brush and rinse.
